Terms of Use

1. Service

Grass ID helps users analyze photos, manual notes, and related scan information for grass, turf, lawn weeds, seedheads, bare patches, discoloration, pest damage, disease-like symptoms, mowing damage, watering stress, soil issues, and general lawn health to receive an estimated result with confidence, evidence, warnings, care guidance, history, and AI chat follow-ups.

Results are informational and based on available evidence. Grass ID does not provide certified agronomic advice, professional turf diagnosis, pesticide instructions, soil testing, irrigation design, legal compliance advice, or guarantees about species, disease, pests, treatment outcomes, safety, or lawn health.

2. No Professional or Decisive Result

Grass ID is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting as any turf specialist, agronomist, landscaping company, university extension office, soil laboratory, pesticide manufacturer, product label, regulator, or government agency. The app's output is an estimate, not a certification, diagnosis, prescription, or final expert opinion.

You are responsible for deciding whether to rely on a result. For serious lawn damage, chemical treatment, pest or disease control, irrigation changes, soil amendments, costly work, or uncertain findings, consult a qualified professional, local extension office, soil test, product label, and applicable local regulations.

3. Data and Security

We do not create a user account for you.

We store uploaded or taken images, manual lawn details, AI analysis results, saved scan history, and chat messages in order to make them available across sessions and to power the AI chat experience.

Some app versions may not yet include every deletion or privacy control. Where deletion controls are available in the app, deleted data is removed from our active systems. You may contact us for support with privacy or deletion requests.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to upload, share, or generate any content that is:

• NSFW or sexually explicit
• Violent, abusive, or harassing
• Illegal or promotes illegal activity, including copyrighted material you do not own, child exploitation material, or hate speech

We reserve the right to monitor uploaded content and permanently suspend access for violations of these rules.

5. Subscriptions and Payments

Grass ID may offer limited free checks and paid Premium access for additional scans, manual lawn detail checks, saved history, and AI chat follow-ups.

Prices, trials, features, and subscription options are displayed in the app paywall or store purchase sheet and may vary by region. Subscriptions are auto-renewable unless canceled according to Apple App Store or Google Play rules.

You can manage or cancel your subscription anytime through your Apple App Store or Google Play account settings. We do not store or have access to your payment details.

6. Consumption Data and Refund Processing

By using Grass ID and making in-app purchases, you consent to our sharing of data regarding your usage and consumption of purchased content with Apple, as part of our efforts to resolve refund requests.

This data may include your subscription status, account tenure, and delivery status of purchased content. This information is shared solely to assist Apple in evaluating refund requests and is handled in accordance with Apple's privacy policies.

7. Intellectual Property

Grass ID and its content, excluding user-uploaded photos, user-provided lawn details, and user-generated chats, are owned by the developer. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse engineer the app.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

Grass ID is provided "as is" and "as available." We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service, nor do we guarantee the accuracy, completeness, freshness, species identification, weed identification, disease assessment, pest assessment, treatment recommendation, fertilizer schedule, pesticide safety, irrigation guidance, soil interpretation, or suitability of any result. Lawn checks can be affected by poor image quality, seasonal changes, recent mowing, drought, shade, lighting, mixed species, missing close-ups, similar-looking weeds, ambiguous symptoms, incomplete history, and AI limitations.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Grass ID and the developer are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the app, including decisions or actions you take related to lawn treatment, herbicide, pesticide, fertilizer, irrigation, mowing, soil amendments, landscaping work, property damage, plant loss, regulatory compliance, or hiring professionals.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms. You may terminate at any time by deleting available data in settings or uninstalling the app.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Poland.
